Plan Ahead to Join Us for Our Family Fellowship Cookout on Sunday, June 29th, After Service
We are finally seeing the sunshine and feeling the warmth of its rays! That means it is time to get outside and enjoy some Summer cookouts. Join us on the lawn by the fire pit for our June Family Fellowship. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments, drinks and all paper products. We are asking each family attending to bring along a side dish or dessert to share, and don’t forget your lawn chairs. If you want to bring along any lawn games, those are welcome too! Please sign up on the card if you plan to attend.

Lighthouse Prayer Gatherings Will Be Focused on First Sundays of Each Month This Summer
We have treasured our incredible Wednesday Night Prayer Group, and we are forever grateful for their eternal investment during this weekly prayer focus over the past several years, thank you! Starting this week, we will be refocusing our formal
prayer times to the first Sundays of each month at 10:00 AM (or second Sundays on holiday weekends.) Please join us at our next Family Prayer Time on Sunday morning, July 13th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. We look forward to standing in the gap with you soon!

New Text Alert System in Use for Notifications
We have a new system in place for sending texts to our Lighthouse families when we need to share information during the week, between services. We will not abuse this system, but it is great for those times when we have something important to share with you. You should have received a few texts from us this past week; if you did not receive those texts, please see Brenda Zimmerman or call the church office, so we can be sure to have you on our notification list. The messages will come from the phone # 833-535-3884; please save this number in your phone as a contact for The Lighthouse, so you are aware that the text coming in is from us.

Our Church App Offers Many Opportunities...
Once you have downloaded our app onto your phone, you can easily use it to record each week’s sermon notes, pay your tithes, connect with us to share prayer requests and information, check our calendar and replay past messages. To download the app, open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone, search for “The Lighthouse-Church App”, find the one that has our church logo beside it (shown here), and download it. We are happy to gather as a church family each week to worship together, but relationships bloom and grow when you engage in a small group. You are welcome to attend as many or as few as you like, and we occasionally like to share an update on what groups are available. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak directly to the leader of the group you are wondering about, or call the church office– we’ll be glad to help!

Meets one Saturday each month at 4:00 PM for fellowship and games.
Next scheduled gathering is Saturday,  August 2nd at 4:00 PM. 

Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Study Group- Hosted by Pastor Cary Wadle in Allaman Hall.
Meets every other Saturday at 8:30 AM for fellowship and study.
The Men's Study is currently taking a summer break, and will begin meeting again in the fall.

Lighthouse Seekers Study Group- Hosted by Tammy Luster in the home of Lynette Brown in Stow.
Meets every other Sunday evening at 6:00 PM for fellowship and study.
Next scheduled gathering is Sunday, June 29th at 6:00 PM.

Retirees Breakfast Fellowship- Hosted by Terry Masters at Michael’s AM, 1562 Akron-Peninsula Road, Akron.
Meets the 1st Friday of each month at 9:30 AM for breakfast & fellowship.
Next scheduled gathering is Friday, July 11th at 9:30 AM.

Sisters Study Group- Hosted by Lexanne Annis in her home in Cuyahoga Falls.
Meets every other Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM for fellowship & study.
Next scheduled gathering is Tuesday, June 24th at 6:30 PM.

Family Prayer: Adults meet the 1st Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM in Allaman Hall; Children & Youth have their regular Foundations Classes. Leaders, Terry Masters and John Dickerson

Foundations Classes: Meet the 2nd through 5th Sundays at 10:00 AM in individual classrooms-
*Lighthouse Kids for ages Pre-K through Elementary, meets in the Pre-school            Room; Leader, Rose Wadle
*Lighthouse Youth for 6th-12th graders, meets in our Fellowship Hall; Leader,                     Lenny Dye (also meets the 3rd Sunday each month at 11:30 AM)
*JOY Group for senior women, meets in Room #5; Studying "Be Right: How to Be Right with God, Yourself, and Others"- Leader, Liz Hazlett
*Masters Foundations Class for all adults, meets in our Prayer Room; Studying            “52 Weeks With Jesus: Fall in Love With the One Who Changed Everything”-            Leader, Terry Masters
*Dickerson Foundations Class for all adults, meets in Allaman Hall; Studying            “Joseph: A Man of Integrity & Forgiveness”- Leader, John Dickerson

Legacy Discipleship Connection: Meets about every other month on pre-scheduled dates, after service, in our Fellowship Hall, specifically for those who have completed the Legacy Discipleship Classes; Leader, Pastor Cary

Prayer Group: Meets every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in our Sanctuary; Leaders, Terry Masters and John Dickerson
This group is focusing on prayer the first Sunday of each month throughout the summer, and will return to Wednesdays in the fall.

Building Our Future is not a “Building Fund” in the sense of providing money for maintenance and repairs. Building Our Future is a fund in which all gifts given are used to ensure that we always have all that is necessary to grow our ministries.  Thank You for Supporting RAHAB Ministries
Your prayers and donations for RAHAB help them reach out to women on the streets, in the dance clubs and in jails in a very practical way, and mentor young girls who are vulnerable. Taking a meal to the women in the clubs opens a door for them to share the true love and hope of Jesus! Please sign up on the sheets at our Cafe window in the front lobby to donate a frozen meal, soup or cookies; there is a freezer in our Missions Room for your donations. We can also accept donations of hygiene items, clothing (preferably in season,) powdered coffee creamer, sugar, and salad dressings.
