We Celebrated Pastor Appreciation Day on Sunday, May 31st
We were honored to be able to take a few minutes at the end of our service to share our love and appreciation with Pastor Cary, Rose, John and Sam. The Wadles never hesitate to put the needs of our congregation before their own; they selflessly asked that we not make a “Big Splash” for Pastor Appreciation Day because we made it possible for them to take a sabbatical at the beginning of this year. Because of our love and concern for them, the Board of Directors was glad to give them the time away needed for their spiritual, emotional, and physical health. Their request for a smaller celebration is reflective of their hearts, placing the needs of the church above their own and showing their thankfulness for the time which was given to them to heal and be restored. We were happy to take this time to let them know they are greatly loved and appreciated!
"And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves." 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
